MyTalkTalk Broadband & Phone With Boosts
TalkTalk have launched ‘MyTalkTalk’, a new product that lets customers build their own TalkTalk broadband and phone package.
Set to revolutionise the broadband market like TalkTalk’s free broadband offering back in April 2006, MyTalkTalk puts the customer in charge so they can pay just for the features they want.
The new product launch follows recent customer research conducted by TalkTalk that showed that 94% of people don’t want to pay for the parts of their broadband and phone calls package that they don’t use.
Furthermore, the findings also indicated that up to 65% of people would like the ability to hand pick their own bespoke package.
The MyTalkTalk product itself revolves around a core home broadband and phone essentials package that costs just £6.49 a month. This package is identical to TalkTalk’s previous Talk Global Evening & Weekend call plan which has free broadband included.
So for £6.49 a month, plus £10.50 phone line rental, customers can receive up to 8Mb broadband, a 40Gb download allowance, a free wireless router, unlimited offpeak phone calls to UK landlines and anytime international landline calls to 36 worldwide destinations.
Customers can then upgrade and personalise this core package by choosing up to 6 additional ‘Boost’ products. These include upgrading their broadband speed to the maximum their line can carry, increasing their download limit from 40Gb to 80Gb and also upping their internet security. Customers can also add other ‘Boosts’ like half price mobile calls, anytime phone calls and various calling features.
Each ‘Boost’ product costs just £4 a month and they can be added or removed at anytime by either going online to mytalktalk.co.uk or by contacting TalkTalk customer services directly.
MyTalkTalk is available on an 18 month contract while Boosts can be cancelled at any time after the first 30 days of activation.
