O2 Offers Free Dongle To Switch Mobile Broadband
Mobile broadband provider O2 is offering a free Pay & Go O2 dongle to new users who hand in their current network dongle to any of its O2 stores in Manchester.
The move is part of O2’s new dongle ‘amnesty’ campaign which is said to be about improving the coverage and quality of mobile broadband across the UK.
The offer runs until July 30th, with the Head Of Pay Monthly at O2, Jonathan Earle, saying, “We believe that O2 mobile broadband provides the best quality service available but we don’t want to say it, we want people to try it for themselves. With O2’s mobile broadband amnesty we are giving other mobile broadband users the chance to give us a try without having to commit to a lengthy contract”.
Earle continued, “Since mobile broadband was launched, the level of customer service and experience provided may not have been as high in some of our competitor’s minds as it should have been. At O2, we believe that customer service is key and have put in place a number of mechanisms across our product range to ensure this happens”.
One of the best things about the free O2 dongle is that it is for O2’s pay & go mobile broadband service. This means users can try the service without being tied into any lengthy contract.
