Be Broadband Is UKeSA Broadband Provider 2009
Be Broadband has been announced as the official UKeSA Broadband Provider for 2009.
The UK eSports Association (UKeSA) is the official governing body for competitive gaming in the UK. Its current Open Division and Championship Division gaming seasons have attraced 6,500 players from 1,500 teams in the UK.
Commenting on the announcement, Felix Geyr, Managing Director of Be Broadband said “”Be has a close affinity to the UK’s gaming community, which is shown through initiatives such as Be Gamer.”

Be Broadband is owned by telecom giant O2 and was the first provider to launch an ADSL2+ network in the UK.
The company currently offers broadband speeds up to 16Mb that are available to just over 70% of UK homes. Prices start from £17.50 a month.
Be has also just completed trials to deliver close to 50Mb broadband speeds via a BT phone line as it looks to regain its broadband speed crown from rivals Virgin Media.
