The pay as you go mobile broadband dongle from O2 is now available to order online at the o2.co.uk website for half price at just £14.67.
Available in white or pink, the O2 dongle, known as the USB modem E160, is MAC and PC compatible.
Perfect as a Christmas present, users receiving the O2 dongle can simply top up with the data usage they need.
Options include paying £2 for one day’s worth of data (500MB), £7.50 for one week (1GB data) and £15 for one month (3GB data).
Once topped up and plugged into a users laptop or desktop, the dongle connects to the O2 network which provides mobile broadband speeds up to 3.6Mbps.
There’s also unlimited access to over 6,100 Wi-Fi hotspots in the UK provided by The Cloud and BT Openzone.

Orange Add Signal Boosting Mobile Broadband Dongle
Orange (www.orange.co.uk) has launched a new mobile broadband dongle that enables users to boost their signal connection.
The new Option 515m Orange dongle has a high-performance antenna which optimises and boosts the Orange mobile broadband signal connection.
Available in a limited edition Orange design, the Option 515m dongle also includes a free 8GB MicroSD card that enables users to store their files and pictures.
Orange mobile broadband packages start from just £4.89 a month for up to 3.6Mb speeds and include the free Orange E1752 dongle.
Users wanting the new signal boosting Option 515m dongle will need to pay a one-off £20 for the dongle while stocks last.

BT Offer £0 Line Connection Charge & Free Broadband
Homeowners needing a new BT landline installed can now save themselves the £122.50 line connection charge and get free broadband & phone calls thanks to a new offer launched by BT (BT.com).
To qualify for the £0 line connection charge offer, customers must take any BT package containing a home phone calling plan.
The offer can also be used in conjunction with BT’s current 3 months free broadband and phone calls deal.
This deal provides wireless broadband speeds up to 20Mbps courtesy of the free BT home hub, together with unlimited UK weekend phone calls and inclusive calls to 0845 & 0870 numbers.
Customers can also add BT Vision (BT’s on demand digital TV service) to their order and either pay per view or take the Bronze Value Pack at just £7.34 a month.
The BT Vision Bronze Value Pack includes the free Vision+ box (£90 otherwise), 2 viewing packs, 70 Freeview TV and radio channels, plus a vast library of on demand TV & film content.
BT’s £0 line connection charge offer, plus its free broadband & phone calls deal is available exclusively online at the BT.com website.
The 3 months free broadband and calls offer is also open to new broadband customers who already have a BT line installed. These customers must simply switch their phone calls package back to BT in order to qualify.

Virgin Mobile Broadband Speeds Now Up To 7.2Mb
Virgin Media (virginmedia.co.uk) has increased its mobile broadband speeds to up to 7.2Mbps following the launch of its new USB modem stick.
The new 7.2Mb USB modem stick is available on a range of contract lengths and monthly data usage limits, enabling consumers to select the mobile broadband package that best suits their requirements.
Users can opt for an 18 month contract or a shorter, more flexbile, 2 month contract and choose from either a 1GB or 3GB data usage allowance each month.
This means that for £10 a month on an 18 month contract, users can have access to mobile broadband speeds up to 7.2Mbps with a 1GB monthly data usage allowance. A small £9.99 set up fee is required for the USB modem stick.
Alternatively, users can pay a one off £34.99 set up fee and take the shorter 2 month contract option.
The Executive Director of Mobile at Virgin Media, Graeme Oxby said: “We’re thrilled to be offering this faster mobile broadband to our users. This offers the same download speeds up to 3.6Mbps and comes with a higher 5GB data allowance for just £15 a month.
A 5GB allowance gives users enough data per month to send 5,000 emails, surf the Internet for 50 hours plus download 25 four minute videos and 160 four minute music tracks.
With Christmas fast approaching, 3 also has a good range of pay as you mobile broadband tariffs and starter kits that come pre-loaded with either 1GB, 3GB or 12GB’s of data.
