Virginmedia.com/switch Gives New Customers £100

Virgin Media (www.virginmedia.com/switch) is giving new customers £100 when they switch online to its £20 a month Broadband, TV and phone calls package.
New customers have until the 29th June to place their online order at the www.virginmedia.com website – where they will also qualify for free installation worth £40.
The £20 a month package provides up to 30Mb broadband speeds, 65 top digital TV channels and unlimited weekend phone calls to UK landlines and Virgin mobiles.
Virgin Media Broadband comes with unlimited downloads (subject to a fair usage policy), anti-virus, firewall & ad blocker security, a free wireless router, plus 10GB’s of online storage.
The digital TV service includes Virgin’s HD ready set top box, TV channels like Sky 1, Sky Living, BBC and Discovery, plus 6 HD channels including BBC One HD and FilmFour HD.
Users can also catch up on the last 7 days’ TV, using the BBC iPlayer, 4 On Demand and ITV Net Player on their TV, whilst also having access to a vast range of films, shows and music videos all available on demand.
New customers switching online to Virgin Media do not need their MAC code from their existing supplier and can usually keep their existing phone number.
Virgin Media telephone line rental of £12.99 per month is required, which is less than BT’s current £13.90 a month.

BT Infinity Rollout Reaches 5 Million Premises

BT (BT.com/infinity) has confirmed that its BT Infinity rollout to British homes and business will reach the 5 million mark by the end of June.
The milestone comes following its announcement of a further 66 telephone exchanges which it plans to enable with its super-fast fibre optic broadband infrastucture.
The 66 new BT Infinity exchanges will be located in areas across Britain (from Bournemouth to Aberdeen) and between them cover nearly one million additional homes and businesses.
With broadband speeds up to 40Mbps, BT Infinity is BT’s fastest broadband ever and promises to transform people’s experience of the Internet.
With unlimited weekend phone calls to UK landlines included, people living in a BT Infinity enabled area can currently get their first 3 months free of charge, followed by £18 a month thereafter.
BT is spending upwards of £2.5 billion on its BT Infinity rollout programme and plans to have its super-fast fibre optic broadband service available to two-thirds of UK homes and businesses by the end of 2015.

Sky Broadband Without TV Only £5 A Month

Sky (sky.com/broadband) is offering new customers its 20Mbps Sky Broadband without TV package for just £5 a month for the first 6 months.
The 6 months half price offer, which reverts to £10 a month from month 7, is available to new customers who do not wish to have Sky TV.
The package, which offers broadband speeds up to 20Mbps together with an unlimited download allowance, includes the McAfee Internet Security Suite and Sky’s wireless router. Free evening and weekend phone calls to UK landlines are also included.
To take advantage of the offer, new customers will need to switch their telephone line rental to Sky and pay £11.25 a month.
The line rental cost rises to £12.25 a month from the 6th July, but this is still cheaper than BT’s £13.90 a month, Virgin Media’s £12.99 and TalkTalk’s £12.60.
New customers not wishing to switch their phone line rental to Sky can still get Sky Broadband without TV, but will need to pay £10 a month for the duration of the 12 month contract.

Plusnet Broadband Offers £30 Amazon Gift Voucher

Plusnet (www.plus.net) is giving away a free £30 Amazon gift voucher to new customers switching online to either its Plusnet Value, Plusnet Extra or Plusnet Fibre Broadband package.
New customers have until the 5th July 2011 to take advantage of the offer which can only be found at Plus.net’s exclusive Amazon webpage.
The offer is limited to one per household, with eligible customers receiving their £30 Amazon voucher via email 30 days after the activation of their Plusnet Broadband service.
Plusnet Broadband packages start from £6.49 a month for up to 20Mb broadband download speeds, a 10GB usage allowance and optional inclusive evening & weekend phone calls to UK landlines (calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers are also included).
All the packages offer a free unlimited usage allowance between the hours of midnight and 8am, together with a free wireless router.
Customers not wanting to sign up to the 12 month contract period can opt to pay an upfront cost of up to £65 to have their broadband without any contract tie in.

Virgin Media’s (www.virginmedia.com/fairytale) ‘Don’t Believe In Fairytales’ campaign is offering new customers switching online to a Virgin Media Broadband, Phone and TV bundle, a £100 credit on their first bill.
Bundle prices for all 3 services range from £20 a month to the £42 a month high definition (HD) ‘extras’ bundle, which includes 165 digital TV channels – including all the favourite Sky TV channels and 19 free HD channels.
Taking a closer look, the £42 a month ‘extras’ bundle provides up to 10Mb Virgin fibre optic broadband speeds, unlimited evening and weekend phone calls to UK landlines and Virgin mobiles, plus the 165 digital TV channels.
