Virginmedia.com/TiVo – Free TiVo Activation Offer

Virgin Media (www.virginmedia.com/TiVo) is offering new and existing customers free TiVo activation worth £49.95 when they order a TV & phone bundle (with or without broadband), that contains a 500GB TiVo box.
Prices start from £9.50 a month for a TV & phone bundle that provides 65 digital TV channels and unlimited weekend phone calls, while up to 10Mbps broadband speeds can be added for an additional £13.50 a month (total monthly price is £23).
Both bundles include a free 500GB TiVo box (normally £49.95), while free installation worth an additional £49.95 is also available for those orders placed online at the www.virginmedia.com website.
The TiVo box is Virgin Media’s newest and most exciting set top box to date and enables customers to do things with their television that they never thought was possible.
Users can watch, pause, rewind and record standard TV, plus HD and 3D, whilst also having options to search for TV shows and films by actor, director, theme or genre – which is must quicker than scrolling through channel lists.
Users can make TV WishLists and let the TiVo box suggest TV shows based on what they like, while cool apps like Facebook, Twitter, eBay and the BBCiPlayer are also on hand to enjoy.
Available with 500GB or 1TB storage, the TiVo box is currently the only set top box that enables users to record three channels while watching a fourth, which means no family member should miss out on the TV they want to watch.
According to the world’s best selling gadget magaine ‘Stuff’, the TiVo box is ‘what PVR’s (personal video recorders) have always promised, but so often failed to deliver’.

Interested readers can find out more information and order a Virgin Media bundle containing the TiVo box online at the www.virginmedia.com website.

Demand for Virgin Media (www.virginmedia.com/broadband) fibre optic broadband speeds of 20Mbps or higher has increased by 40% in the last year according to the company’s full year trading results for 2010.
Britons appetite for super-fast broadband speeds led to Virgin Media reaching 4.3 million fibre optic broadband customers by the end of 2010, 20% of which subscribe to broadband speeds of 20Mbps or higher.
In Q4 2010, 32% of new customers ordered 20Mbps or higher broadband speeds at sign up, which was twice that of the same period in 2009.
Over 118,000 customers now use Virgin Media’s 50Mbps broadband service, while the company’s 100Mbps service continues to be rolled out across its fibre optic broadband network covering 55% of UK homes. It is expected to be completed in 2012.
