BE Broadband To Offer Home Phone Packages
Award-winning provider BE Broadband (bethere.co.uk) has announced plans to launch its own home phone packages and landline service within the next 6 months.
The new home phone service will benefit from the company’s award-winning customer service and enable new and existing customers to choose from a range of broadband and phone bundles.
Commenting on the news, Tom Williams, Head of BE Broadband, said: “We have received a lot of demand from our members about offering a landline phone service, and the plans we have announced today are a response to this demand”.
Williams continued: “As with other new products such as our line bonding service, which offers speeds of up to 48Mbs download, we will be rolling out a trial to a select number of BE members to make sure that the service will be a viable option to roll out across our entire customer base”.
Willimans ended by saying: “We know how many of our customers value the premium experience they get through BE’s broadband packages, and by bringing the same quality and levels of customer service to a landline phone proposition we hope to bring added value to customers who are already delighted with our broadband service”.
No pricing information has yet to be revealed by BE Broadband though it is expected to be competitive with O2’s new home phone service that launched earlier this week. BE’s parent company is O2.
BE Broadband prices start from £13.79 a month for up to 8Mbps speeds with an unlimited monthly download usage allowance. Upload speeds up to 1.3Mbps are possible.
BE Broadband was recently credited with the fastest average download and upload speeds in the market by PC Advisor.
