Free Sky Broadband To Have 20Mbps Speeds

Sky (sky.com/free) is to offer new and existing Sky TV customers free Sky Broadband speeds up to 20Mbps from the 1st June.
As part of the revamp, Sky will be offering two broadband packages to choose from, Sky Everyday Lite and Sky Unlimited.
Sky Everyday Lite Broadband will be free to new and existing Sky TV customers who take or have the free Sky Talk package. Broadband speeds up to 20Mbps will be offered together with a 2GB monthly download usage allowance.
Sky Unlimited Broadband, at £7.50 a month, will provide a truly unlimited broadband service with speeds up to 20Mbps. Available to new and existing Sky TV customers with Sky Talk, Sky Unlimited will come with no monthly download usage cap, no fair usage policy and no traffic shaping (also known as throttling).
In particular no traffic shaping means that unlike some other broadband suppliers, Sky will not reduce the broadband speeds its Unlimited customers enjoy on its broadband network at busy times of the day.

Commenting on the announcement, Sky’s Director of Broadband & Talk, Delia Bushell said: “Sky is transforming the broadband marketplace again, by providing Britain’s best value up to 20Mb truly unlimited broadband service and the UK’s only free, up to 20Mb service”.
“With these new products, our customers have a very simple choice to make based on how much they use the internet, with peace of mind that they are getting a high quality, reliable service”.
Bushell concluded by saying: “Unlike some other ISPs, Sky promises not to slow down the speed customers enjoy on its network at peak times, and in terms of usage, Sky’s unlimited service really means unlimited”.

Sky.com To End Free £50 M&S Voucher Offer

Sky has confirmed that its free £50 M&S voucher offer given to new customers joining Sky TV online at the sky.com website will end on the 25th March.
To qualify, new customers will need to order online a Sky digital TV package, either on its own, or as part of a bundled package comprising Sky TV, Sky Broadband and Sky Talk.
Sky will then send a £50 Marks and Spencer voucher within 45 days of activating the customer’s viewing, with one voucher being made available per household. New customers must have their viewing card enabled by the 25th April 2010.
Sky currently has a range of digital TV deals available which include a free Sky+HD box. Prices start from £18 a month for those customers not requiring Sky’s HD pack containing 37 HD channels and £28 a month for those who do (this is Sky’s Supertelly package).
Both these packages include one TV entertainment pack from a choice of six, with further TV packs costing an additional £1 a month. With such a great choice customers can build the TV package that’s right for them.
Free broadband with download speeds up to 2Mbps is also included together with Sky Talk’s free evening & weekend phone calls plan.

New customers ordering the free Sky+HD box with the Sky HD pack will receive free standard installation, while those customers not opting for the HD pack will be required to pay the £30 standard fee.
Readers can find out more and build their own Sky package to suit their needs at the sky.com website.

Sky.com/free Offers Sky+ HD Box With No HD Pack

Sky (sky.com/free) has launched a free Sky+ HD box offer for new Sky TV customers not ready to take the Sky HD pack.
Up until now, new customers signing up to Sky TV online had to pay a one off £49 for the Sky+ HD box if they were not taking the £10 a month HD pack containing 37 HD channels. Free standard set up applied.

The change means the Sky+ HD box can be ordered for free without the £10 a month HD Pack, although a £30 standard set up fee now applies. Users can then take the Sky HD Pack whenever they are ready.
Sky’s digital TV packages are split into 6 entertainment packs so customers only pay for the type of TV they wish to watch.
One entertainment pack starts from £18 a month while additional TV packs can be added for just £1 a month each.
Broadband speeds up to 2Mbps, plus free evening and weekend phone calls to UK landlines are also included in the £18 a month package.
New customers joining Sky can also receive a free £50 Marks & Spencer voucher if they order Sky TV online at the sky.com/free website before the 25th March 2010.
New customers ordering Sky TV online after this date can still get a free £25 M&S voucher.

Sky.com Offers FREE £50 Marks & Spencer Voucher

Sky has launched an exclusive £50 Marks & Spencer voucher offer that is only available online at the sky.com website.
The offer is open to new customers ordering Sky TV online by the 25th March 2010, with one voucher being available per household.
Customers who order online must enable the Sky TV viewing card they will receive by the 25th April 2010 – After which Sky will send the £50 M&S voucher.

New customers ordering online a Sky bundle package containing digital TV, broadband and phone calls will also qualify for the £50 M&S voucher.
Prices for a Sky TV, broadband and calls package start from £18 a month, with a one-off £49 required for the Sky+HD box without the HD pack. A standard set up cost of £30 usually applies, however, this is waived if the package is ordered online.
A free Sky+HD box is available when customers order online a Sky+HD package. Prices start from £28 a month for the Sky+HD Starter package which includes 1 TV Entertainment Pack and the Sky HD Pack with 37 HD channels.
Free Sky Broadband (with up to 2Mbps speeds) plus free evening & weekend UK phone calls with Sky Talk is also available.

FREE Sky+HD Box Live At Sky.com/supertelly

Sky (sky.com/supertelly) has launched a free Sky+HD box offer as part of its new ‘Supertelly’ campaign.
The new offer means customers with an HD ready TV, but without an HD box to view HD TV programmes, now have the opportunity to receive a free Sky+HD box when they join Sky – and in the process make their TV a ‘Supertelly’.
With 37 HD TV channels ready to watch, including Sky Sports HD, Sky Movies HD, Sky1 HD and BBC HD, there’s an unrivalled line up of HD entertainment to enjoy – all in stunning high definition and superb Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.

To qualify for the free Sky+HD box, customers must, as a minimum, order online the entry level Sky+HD Starter package for just £28 a month.
This package includes the free Sky+HD box, free standard set-up (normally £30), 1 TV Entertainment Pack (from a choice of 6) and the HD Pack.
Free Sky Broadband with up to 2Mb speeds plus free evening & weekend phone calls with Sky Talk Freetime are also included.

There’s also the added incentive of a free £25 M&S voucher when customers order online.

Sky Launch 6 Months Free 20Mb Broadband Offer

Digital TV & broadband supplier Sky (sky.com) has launched a 6 months free broadband offer on its 20Mb broadband speed package.
The offer is available to new and existing Sky TV customers who sign up online for either a Sky+ or Sky+ HD box.
The incentive means new customers joining Sky need only pay from £18 a month for Sky digital TV, up to 20Mb unlimited broadband, plus free evening and weekend calls to UK landlines.
After 6 months, there’s just an extra £10 a month to pay.
Sky’s award-winning up to 20Mbps broadband package has an unlimited download usage allowance and comes with a free wireless router and free McAfee Internet security software.
Customers must pay a one-off £49 for the Sky+ or Sky+ HD box, together with a £30 installation charge.
The majority of these costs can be recouped thanks to the £50 Marks & Spencer voucher that Sky sends out to customers who order Sky TV online at the sky.com website.
Sky currently has 37 high definition (HD) digital TV channels, 30 more than any other HD provider. The company supplies broadband services to over 2.3 million customers.
