BT To End Broadband & Phone Offer Today
BT (BT.com) has announced that it will end its £7.99 a month broadband and phone promotional offer today at midnight.
Providing a saving of £89.82 over 18 months, the promotion applies to its Talk & Surf Plus package which offers broadband speeds up to 20Mbps plus unlimited anytime phone calls to UK landlines.
Also included is a 10GB monthly download usage allowance for the broadband, basic PC security, 250 Wi-Fi minutes, the black BT home hub for wireless broadband use, plus anytime phone calls to 0845 & 0870 numbers.
Referred to as ‘BT’s Best Value Package’, the plan costs £7.99 a month for the first 3 months and £15.99 per month after – but only when ordered online before midnight tonight.
Customers buying this BT broadband and call plan seperately would have to pay £12.98 a month for the first 3 months, then £20.98 a month after.

BT Broadband Starts BT.com/Infinity Campaign
BT (BT.com/infinity) has commenced its first advertising campaign for BT Infinity Broadband, its new super-fast fibre optic broadband service.
The campaign focusses on how BT Infinity Broadband can give users the ‘Internet in an instant’ using its most powerful download speeds to date of up to 40Mbps.
Promising to transform peoples’ experience of the Internet, BT Infinity Broadband gives customers the instant capacity and reliability they need from a broadband service – And at a reasonable price.
It’s entry level BT Infinity Option 1 package offers up to 40Mbps download speeds coupled with a 20GB monthly data allowance for £19.99 a month.
Despite there being a £50 activation fee, basic PC security, the BT Infinity Home Hub and engineer installation are included for free, while upload speeds up to 2Mbps are provided.
BT Infinity Option 2, at £24.99 per month, differs by having an unlimited monthly data usage allowance together with upload speeds up to 10Mbps. There’s no activation fee, while advanced McAfee PC security is included.
BT is launching BT Infinity Broadband in stages across the UK with around 4 million homes expected to have access to Infinity enabled exchanges by December 2010.

BT’s Anytime Call Plan Vs Virgin’s Saves £180
BT’s (BT.com/calls/virgin) Unlimited Anytime Phone Call Plan now offers average savings of up to £180 compared to Virgin Media, according to the company.
The £180 saving, based on pricing from the 1st April, comes after BT compared the first year bill for an average BT Unlimited Anytime Plan customer versus an equivalent bill for a Virgin Media customer.
The analysis found that BT Call Plan prices are cheaper than Virgin Media’s with BT’s Unlimited Anytime Plan costing £4.99 a month while Virgin Media’s Talk Unlimited plan cost £7.95 a month.
Furthermore, from April 1st, BT’s phone line rental is cheaper at £11.54 a month versus Virgin Media’s £11.99 a month.
Calls to 0845 and 0870 numbers are also included within BT’s call plans while it is reported by BT that Virgin Media customers pay the highest rates in the market.
BT is currently offering its Anytime Call Plan for free for the first 3 months, followed by £4.99 a month after.
Alternatively, new customers can take the BT Talk & Surf Plus package and get up to 20Mb broadband speeds plus unlimited anytime phone calls from just £7.99 a month.

Free BT Vision + Box Offered At BT.com/clevertv
BT Vision (BT.com/clevertv), BT Broadband’s ‘clever TV’ service is offering new customers a free BT Vision + box up until the 26th March.
The online offer, providing a saving of up to £45, is available to new BT Vision customers taking a BT Vision Value pack either as part of a BT broadband package or on its own.
BT Vision is BT’s on-demand digital TV service for BT Total Broadband customers. The service uses a customers BT broadband connection together with the BT Vision + box to access and deliver to TV screens thousands of shows to watch on demand.
These include live sports TV, kids’ TV, the latest blockbuster films, music videos, and more – all shown advertisement-free.
BT Vision’s ability to enable users to catch up on the best of last week’s TV from all five main TV channels makes it the only UK digital TV service able to do this.
To qualify for the free BT Vision + box offer, existing BT Broadband customers must simply order a BT Vision Value Pack online at the BT.com website. Prices start from £7.50 a month.
Non BT broadband customers can qualify by ordering online one of BT’s calls, broadband and TV packages that costs from £13.49 a month on an 18 month contract.
Unlimited UK weekend calls and up to 20Mbps broadband speeds are included.

BT has cut the price of its TV, broadband & phone packages by up to 50% in the BT Terrific 10 day SALE. BT Broadband & Phone Call Packages Get Price Cut
BT (BT.com) has refreshed its three broadband and phone call packages using price cuts and new product names.
The ISP’s ‘Get connected’, ‘Home & Away’ and ‘Unlimited’ packages have been replaced by the new names, ‘Talk and Surf’, ‘Talk and Surf Plus’ & ‘Talk and Surf Unlimited’.
BT’s entry level Talk and Surf package provides up to 20Mbps home broadband and unlimited UK weekend phone calls for the new price of £7.49 a month for the first 3 months, followed by £14.49 a month after.
A 10GB monthly download usage allowance is provided together with the BT Home Hub for wireless broadband access.
The Talk and Surf Plus package offers the same maximum broadband speeds, usage allowance and equipment, with unlimited anytime, rather than weekend, UK phone calls included. Prices start at £9.99 per month for the first 3 months before increasing to £19.99 a month after.
As the name suggests, BT’s Talk and Surf Unlimited package provides up to 20Mbps broadband speeds with an unlimited monthly download usage allowance.
With unlimited anytime phone calls included, BT’s top level package costs £19.99 a month for 3 months, before reverting to £27.99 per month after.
Those customers looking to switch to a BT Broadband and call package will need to pay a £50 connection fee if they do not have an existing BT phone line installed.
