Super-fast broadband supplier Be is now offering free Be Broadband to new customers until the end of the year.
To qualify, new customers must order any Be Broadband package online by the 14th December 2008.
Be Broadband is available to 75% of UK households with prices starting from £13.50 a month for the Be Value package which offers up to 8Mb download speeds plus an unlimited monthly download usage allowance.
For just £17.50 a month, customers can purchase Be Unlimited Broadband, providing speeds up to 24Mb, as well as record-breaking upload speeds up to 2.5Mb.
What’s more, the company’s £24 connection fee has also been waived for all online orders made before the 14th December.
Be has recently won a ‘Best Broadband Buy’ award from the consumer magazine Which? and is one of the UK’s fastest broadband providers.

The jump from ‘broadband hell’ to ‘broadband heaven’ is the message being touted by Be Broadband with their recent ‘more than 8 meg’ campaign.
The campaign is being supported by their micro site ‘morethan8meg.com’ that communicates to users what ‘broadband hell’ is with the likes of buffering, lost connections and throttling, before positioning Be Broadband as the route to ‘broadband heaven’.
Be is the fastest broadband provider in the UK with speeds up to 24Mb and prices starting from £8 per month. Their services are available to 75% of the UK population where they have unbundled the local BT exchange.
Be Broadband, owned by O2, have today announced a new ‘888’ promotion, where new customers ordering Be Value Broadband can take advantage of up to 8Mb broadband for £8 per month for the rest of 2008.
That’s up to 8Mb for £8 for ’08 (888).
Reduced from £14 a month, Be Value is the perfect service for light online users, but importantly is not light on features.
With up to 8Mb download speeds, upload speeds of up to 1.3Mb, unlimited usage, a free 24/7 support hotline and a free wireless Be Box modem, it represents great value for customers.

Here’s something that caught my eye today. O2 owned Be Broadband have launched the Be Home Monitoring Service – a wireless security camera that lets you monitor your house or your business using your Be Broadband connection.
It’s a nifty bit of technology that also sends you a text, MMS or email when the camera picks up anything. Take a look at the TV demo below to see how it works:
Be Broadband offer download speeds up to 24Mb for just £18 a month, plus you’ll get a free wireless modem worth £116. You can find out more about Be Broadband in our review here.
