Free Orange Home Broadband – New Offer

Orange have today announced a new free home broadband offer.

Home Starter Broadband with speeds up to 8Mb is now free with any Orange pay monthly mobile phone plan with a minimum £15 tariff.

The monthly download usage allowance of Orange Home Starter has been increased to 10Gb, while the free wireless router and free offpeak phone calls remain in place.

The free broadband offer only applies if you live in an Orange broadband network area which currently covers 65% of UK households. This is where Orange have put their own equipment into the local BT telephone exchange, a process known as local loop unbundling.

Customers will have to pay an additional £8 a month if they don’t live in an Orange broadband network area, plus a further £10 a month if they don’t have or won’t take an Orange pay monthly mobile phone plan.
