3 Cut Pay As You Go Mobile Broadband Dongle Prices

Mobile operator 3 has cut the price of its pay as you go mobile broadband dongle and its 3GB ready to go mobile broadband starter kit.

New customers now need only pay a one off £19.99 for 3’s ZTE MF627 USB modem dongle. They can then top up their dongle with 1GB’s worth of data usage allowance for £10, 3GB’s for £15 and 7GB’s for £25.

A 3GB data usage allowance enables users to send 3,000 emails a month, surf the internet for 30 hours a month, download 96 four minute music tracks and download 15 four minute videos.

3’s ready to go mobile broadband starter kit has been reduced to a one off £39.99. For this customers receive the ZTE MF627 USB modem dongle that comes pre-loaded with 3GB’s worth of data usage allowance.

Customers can then top up as and when required, though they’ll need to remember that with all of 3’s PAYG mobile broadband plans, each data top up must be used within 30 days of purchase.

3 Adds Short 1 Month Mobile Broadband Contract

Mobile broadband supplier 3 has added a short 1 month mobile broadband contract option to sit alongside its 12, 18 and 24 month contract tariffs.

For £15 a month, new customers can enjoy mobile broadband speeds up to 3.6Mb and a 5GB monthly usage allowance whilst knowing they can cancel their contract ay any time by giving 1 months notice after their first month.

The 5GB monthly data allowance is enough to send 5,000 emails, surf the web for 50 hours or download 160 four minute music tracks. Charges of 10p per Mb are applied if the monthly data allowance is exceeded.

This 3 mobile broadband deal is for a SIM card only, which means the SIM card customers receive from 3 must be used in a 3 USB modem. If customers do not have a 3 modem, they can buy the ZTE MF627 USB modem at the same time for a one off fee of £19.99.

3 Boost Broadband & Laptop Deal With 15GB Usage

3, the UK’s number one mobile broadband provider, has added a sizeable 15GB usage allowance to its mobile broadband and Acer Aspire 150b free laptop deal.

Available for £22.50 a month over a 24 month contract, the deal provides up to 3.6Mb mobile broadband speeds, a free USB modem stick, a 15GB monthly data allowance and the Acer Aspire 150b mini laptop netbook.

Leading UK mobile broadband provider 3 has cut the price of its mobile broadband no contract starter kits by £10.

Now available for a one-off £49.99 fee, customers can choose either a ready to go ZTE MF627 USB modem starter kit or an E160G.

Both come with the USB stick pre-loaded with 3GB’s of data that enables customers to send 3,000 emails, surf the web for 30 hours, download 15 four minute videos and download 96 four minute music tracks.
Once the 3GB allowance is used, customers can simply top up their data with £10 buying a 1GB allowance, £15 3GB and £25 7GB – with each top up expiring after 30 days.

At just £40 a month with 5GB of data and mobile broadband speeds up to 3.6Mb, this is a good buy. Windows Vista Home Premium is also included.

The Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Li3710 (worth £430) is a good household family laptop and with broadband speeds up to 3.6Mb included, the £40 a month charge looks reasonable. The Amilo has a 16″ HD LCD display, dual core processor, 250GB hard drive and 2GB of RAM. Vista Home Premium and MS Works is included, whilst there’s also a multi format DVD burner.
