BT Sport Offer – Broadband, TV & Calls For £5p/m + BT Sport
New customers switching to BT at (bt.com/sport) can now get BT Broadband, TV & Calls for £5 a month for the first 6 months, plus FREE BT Sport.
The broadband and calls part of the package features unlimited downloads with no usage caps, the BT Home Hub wireless router, unlimited Wi-Fi access at over 4 million hotspots across the UK and inclusive weekend phone calls to UK landlines.
FREE BT Sport is included with BT Broadband, enabling customers to watch a range of world class sport either online or on a smartphone or tablet via the BT Sport app from the 1st August 2013.
That world class sport includes, amongst others, 38 live and exclusive Barclays Premier League football games and 69 live Aviva Premiership rugby matches. There’s also live FA Cup and UEFA Europa Cup action, together with live WTA tennis and Moto GP coverage – to name but a few.
The TV element of the £5 a month package is BT’s Essential TV pack which comes with a free YouView set top box worth £299.
Through a combination of TV aerial, broadband connectivity and the YouView box, subscribers can pause, rewind, record and watch over 100 Freeview channels.
They can also use the unique Catch Up TV service that enables viewers to scrollback the TV EPG and watch any programmes they may have missed on channels like the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5.
There’s also on-demand access to around 20,000 free and paid for TV programmes, films and music videos that are available on the BT Vision Player which resides on the main menu of the YouView box.
For a one-off £10 activation fee, subscribers can also enjoy watching BT Sport on BT TV, even if BT Infinity Broadband isn’t available in their area yet. BT Infinity is usually required in order to watch BT Sport on BT TV.
Existing BT Broadband customers can add the BT TV Essential pack to their monthly BT subscription for an additional £5 a month and also qualify for the free YouView box worth £299.
