Plusnet has increased the average fibre optic broadband speed of its Plusnet Fibre Extra package to 66Mbps, while maintaining the price at just £26.99 a month when ordered online at the plus.net/fibre website.

Now two times faster than the UK average broadband speed, the Plusnet Fibre Extra package also features phone line rental, an unlimited monthly download usage allowance and upload speeds of 19.5Mbps.

There’s also a free wireless router, plus pay as you go phone calls to UK landlines and 0845/0870 numbers.

Free activation worth £10 is included.
