BT’s (BT.com\/calls\/virgin<\/a>) Unlimited Anytime Phone Call Plan now offers average savings of up to \u00a3180 compared to Virgin Media, according to the company.<\/b>
\nThe \u00a3180 saving, based on pricing from the 1st April, comes after BT compared the first year bill for an average BT Unlimited Anytime Plan customer versus an equivalent bill for a Virgin Media customer.
\nThe analysis found that BT Call Plan prices are cheaper than Virgin Media’s with BT’s Unlimited Anytime Plan costing \u00a34.99 a month while Virgin Media’s Talk Unlimited plan cost \u00a37.95 a month.
\nFurthermore, from April 1st, BT’s phone line rental is cheaper at \u00a311.54 a month versus Virgin Media’s \u00a311.99 a month.

\nCalls to 0845 and 0870 numbers are also included within BT’s call plans while it is reported by BT that Virgin Media customers pay the highest rates in the market.

\nBT is currently offering its Anytime Call Plan for free for the first 3 months, followed by \u00a34.99 a month after.
\nAlternatively, new customers can take the BT Talk & Surf Plus package and get up to 20Mb broadband speeds plus unlimited anytime phone calls from just \u00a37.99 a month.
