T-Mobile (www.t-mobile.co.uk<\/a>) has announced the launch of new mobile broadband pricing when abroad in the form of Euro Broadband Boosters.<\/b>
\nAvailable from the 1st March 2010 to pay per day and pay monthly mobile broadband customers, the Boosters offer users control over the costs of using mobile broadband when on holiday abroad.
\nCustomers will have the choice of 4 Euro Broadband Boosters which can be brought online via a simple webpage that opens automatically when the browser is accessed in Europe.
\nThey are 3MB’s of data for \u00a31 which offers about 15 minutes of online use to quickly check emails, 20MB’s of data for \u00a35 which gives 2 hours online usage, 50MB’s of data for \u00a310 for one days use and 200MB’s of data for \u00a340 for 30 days online usage.
\nApart from the 200MB option, all the other data plans last for up to 24 hours from the time of purchase with customers easily able to view their time or data allowance remaining.
\nThe Senior Propositions Manager for Mobile Broadband at T-Mobile, Ralf Pearson, said: “We want customers to be able to get the most from our Mobile Broadband service. As 40% say they want to take their laptop away with them to stay connected, we\u2019re launching Euro Broadband Boosters so they can do this without having to worry about the costs getting out of control”.
\nPearson continued: “With this proposition, we\u2019re offering these customers a range of better value, worry-free options, built to suit their different on-line needs while they\u2019re in the most popular travel destinations”.
\nIn the UK, T-Mobile Broadband pay monthly packages start from \u00a310 for speeds up to 4.5Mbps and a 3GB data usage allowance.
\nCustomers can simply pre-pay for a Euro Broadband Booster before they go on holiday and easily top up whilst away if they need to.
